Things to work on :
What can I learn from this:
- I need to prioritize sleep more, set hard rules for myself and if I am travelling with a group, for myself in that group.
- Prepare better. Now exactly what shape, what club to hit with each wind direction. What are my options? This will give confidence in my shot selection.
- Learn how to honor my instincts in regards to my game plan: Play the shot that you see, and that you can commit to. Don’t hit a shot that you don’t see, and don’t feel like hitting.
- Learn how to not care about others during a round of golf. Care about yourself.
- Learn how to detach myself from the score, instead attach yourself to having a clear process. That gives myself the opportunity to play my best golf.
- Stay calm, factual, present and unemotional.
- Choose the correct attitude directly during a hardship
- Be clear in your mission, you write your own story. You’re the master of your own ship, not your negative thoughts you have an option to choose the right attitude.
- Have the confidence to talk to your caddy, especially when you’re not feeling well, choose your attitude and get rid of misconceptions.
- Can you compare yourself with yourself? Or is that not possible, since no days are the same, are you a bit different on each day, because the variables (wind, sleep, pinposition, playing positions) are different?
